On August 14, "Art and Peace" - China Contemporary Art Exhibition, co-hosted by the Chinese Artists Association and Mexico's National Museum of World Culture, was declared open at the National Museum of World Culture in Mexico. With the theme of "Art and Peace", the Chinese Artists Association holds Chinese art touring exhibitions around the world. This not only accords with the common expectation of the international community for peace and development, but also expresses the good wishes and lofty ideals of artists to maintain world peace.
About 40 pieces (sets) of contemporary Chinese art works selected by the exhibition, with their rich content and diverse forms, have vividly manifested the humanistic idea and harmonious concept of peace-loving of Chinese nation. The main part of the exhibition is the Belt and Road-themed works created by Chinese ink painting masters under the particular organization of Chinese Artists Association. The ink has unique traditional Chinese art characteristics. Using it, the painters have depicted the myriad customs of countries along the Belt and Road, shown the spirit of "harmony without uniformity" and revealed the new perspective of Chinese art going to the world to present and inherit the “Silk Road Spirit”.
This exhibition in Mexico will run until October.
