The Future AI Computing Center project is the first move of Yanta District in developing future industries. The Future AI Computing Center project is jointly invested and operated by the Future Industrial City, Chinasoft International, and Huawei. The first phase can provide 300P AI and 80P HPC computing abilities in full operation, and will generate an average annual direct operating revenue of about CNY 40 million. After the R&D center and platform in the second phase starts to operate, it can attract 5-10 AI and big data-related companies, and the average annual turnover is expected to reach more than CNY 1 billion.

The data center of the Future AI Computing Center project phase I, which was put into use on September 9, adopts the world's leading, full-stack, autonomous and controllable computing architecture integrating AI, high-performance, and general-purpose computing. It uses modular data centers to build AI public computing infrastructure, supporting the development of AI ecosystem, forming an AI industrial cluster, and promoting digital industrial transformation in Xi'an.
The Future AI Computing Center project comprised of an AI computing center, a public computing service platform, an application and innovation incubation platform, an industry aggregate development platform, and a research innovation and talent cultivation platform. The completion and operation of the project will provide important support for the realization of Yanta District's innovation goals. It will also assist Yanta District in building the district towards an innovative, enterprising and livable district with rich cultural elements, which is ruled by law, to support the development of Xi'an.
