Recently, the opening ceremony of Qujialing Site Museum and China Agricultural Valley·Qujialing Cultural IP Design Awards Ceremony were held in Hubei Jingmen's Qujialing Site Museum.

Since the competition was launched on November 20, 2020, a total of 2,229 valid works and sets of works) from China, the United States, France, Italy, Hungary, Malaysia and other countries have been received. As a result of careful online evaluation by a final evaluation panel composed of 9 well-known experts and scholars from China and abroad,155 works and sets of works were awarded the gold, silver, bronze, collection and incentive awards, and 4 sets of works won special judging awards from the audience.

At the awards ceremony, the mascot set "Tao Tao" made by Liang Chen, a young designer winning the gold medal, was officially unveiled. This award-winning set of work named "HELLO TAOTAO" was inspired by Qujialing's "TAO" culture. "TAO" indicates the beautiful peach blossoms in the mountains and wilds of Qujialing, the black pottery with a long history and unique characteristics, and the spirit welcoming visitors from all over to Qujialing to find treasures.The changeable patterns on "Tao Tao" are taken from the typical characteristic patterns of Qujialing black pottery.

It is reported that Qujialing Site is a representative site for studying the formation and development of Qujialing culture. It has witnessed the glorious stage of prehistoric cultural development in the middle reaches of the Yangtze River.
