Recently, the first 2022 Central Asia special train loaded with tons of Sichuan tea departed from Chengdu International Railway Port to Tashkent, Uzbekistan. This special train carried 50 containers, with a cargo weight of 1,235 tons and a cargo value of USD 3.832 million. This is also the third special train for Sichuan tea exported to Central Asia.
Following the first large-scale export of medium and high-end Sichuan green tea in 2021, 52 tons of Sichuan black tea in this special train is the first export to Central Asia. The export categories of Sichuan tea continue to increase.
