Employment in Tonglu, Hangzhou, Zhejiang Gets off to a Good Start

Earlier this year, while strengthening Covid-19 prevention and control, Tonglu County in Zhejiang province, China planned to implement the "Common Prosperity in Tonglu" program. Specifically, thousands of jobs from hundreds of enterprises ensure employment and people's living for tens of thousands of people in this program, with 15,000 jobs from 650 enterprises available, 48,077 downloads of employment information reached and 7,203 pieces of information about people with employment intention registered.

Job Fair 

As a highlight of the "Common Prosperity in Tonglu" program, 100 enterprises provided over 6,000 jobs, attracting more than 3,000 job seekers for communication.

At the job fair held in Fuchunjiang Town, 33 enterprises provided 1,056 jobs such as mechanical engineer, equipment technician, administrative clerk, salesman, manager and operator, covering many industries including hydro-electric installation, auto parts, logistics equipment, apparel knitting and renewable resources, and attracting nearly 600 job seekers.

Job Seekers Get Job Information on Site

2,715 people have reached their employment intention with the help of the job fair and other activities in just one week. Tonglu County got off to a good start in employment after the Spring Festival.　　

"This year, we are preparing a series of human resources exchanges after the Spring Festival. We hope to attract more talents to get employed in Tonglu and provide human resources for enterprises through the promotion of employment codes, arranging "through buses" to publicize jobs in villages and communities, and organizing offline comprehensive job fairs," said He Jianzhong, the deputy director of Tonglu County Human Resources and Social Security Bureau. The bureau will carry out special recruitment and one-on-one targeted assistance in different regions and industries as planned, helping job seekers find suitable jobs.
