[Me and My Chinese Story Season II (Episode Eight)] - Woody: A Youth Volunteer from Bangladesh

Mohammad Saiyedul Islam, also known as Woody, from Bangladesh, is currently a doctoral student majoring in International Trade at Jiangxi University of Finance and Economics.

Amid the COVID-19 pandemic, Woody has been dedicated to voluntary work and worked with Chinese teachers and students to fight against the pandemic, because he believes that "In any crisis, the youth people have to come first." Looking up to Lei Feng, Woody founded Lei Feng International Volunteer Association in 2021 in China with members from a dozen countries and regions.

During his four years in China, Woody has also been committed to spreading China's stories he witnessed to the world. In his view, China is a "safe, peaceful, friendly and responsible country to its people". He hopes to share authentic stories that happen in China and to let the world know about a real China.
