Xi'an National Civil Aerospace Industrial Base Creates Better Life with Volunteer Services

The Volunteer Service Team of Xi'an National Civil Aviation Aerospace Industrial Base Taxation Bureau was awarded the title of Best Volunteer Service Organization in Shaanxi Province for 2022, as part of the province's annual list of Four Best (Excellent) Models in Following Lei Feng's Spirit to Carry Out Volunteering Services. The list was released by 12 departments including the Publicity Department of the CPC Shaanxi Provincial Committee, the Office of the Shaanxi Spiritual Civilization Construction Commission, and the Department of Civil Affairs of Shaanxi Province.

Volunteers from the Xi'an National Civil Aviation Aerospace Industrial Base Taxation Bureau are offering volunteer services.

Since its establishment in May 2018, the Volunteer Service Team of Xi'an National Civil Aviation Aerospace Industrial Base Taxation Bureau has adopted a working mechanism that integrates volunteer services and civilized tax payment services and offered regular volunteer services such as care for special children, policy publicity and consultation, epidemic prevention and control, as well as advocating a civilized and healthy lifestyle. To date, the team has accumulated a total service time exceeding 13,000 hours. Moreover, each volunteer has devoted an average of 155 hours of service time, with over 600 volunteers participating in different activities.

The aerospace industrial base has set up 63 leading volunteer service teams formed by party members, 61 social volunteer service teams, and 110 community-based volunteer service teams, involving over 6,100 volunteers in total. The theme of the aerospace industrial base’s volunteer services is centered on Making Xi'an More Beautiful with Volunteer Services. To achieve this goal, the aerospace industrial base has been consistently organizing a wide range of themed activities that cover more regions and help more people benefit from them. Besides, it has been encouraging participation from various sectors while striving to standardize and streamline volunteer services to make them accessible for everyone from all walks of life. Thus, everyone can get the chance to be a volunteer.

Moreover, the aerospace industrial base has integrated volunteer services with themed activities such as I Do Practical Things for the Masses of People, Civilized City Construction, and Our Festivals. By optimizing infrastructure and improving service quality, the aerospace industrial base comprehensively promotes the improvement of the urban development quality and effectively promotes the new trend of social civilization, which is jointly built and shared by the residents.
