Chengdu Park and Greenway System Receives Over 6 Million Visitors During the Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day Holiday

From September 29th to October 6th, Chengdu Park and Greenway system organized more than 90 activities and 580 sessions with the theme "Walk around the streets of Chengdu" which mainly included "viewing flower exhibitions, visiting the Tianfu Greenway, appreciating the beauty of parks, and exploring ancient trees". In total, the event received over 6.3345 million visitors.

During the event, the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding received 436,900 visitors, an increase of 266% compared to the same period last year. Chengdu Zoo held nearly 100 activities and received 427,800 visitors. Chengdu People's Park attracted 222,000 visitors. Chengdu Ecological Park held nearly 400 activities on the greenway, such as music festivals, agricultural science and technology experiences, and car boot sale, attracting over 1.9 million visitors.

In addition, the Jinjiang night cruise project has become a must-visit destination for more and more people visiting Chengdu. During the National Day holiday, Jinjiang night cruise project launched cultural performances and experience activities such as boat light shows and tide markets, connecting night-time landmarks such as Chenghua Park Wharf, Dongmen Wharf, and Music Square Wharf. In the first five days of the holiday, the total number of visitors exceeded 160,000.
