Hangzhou Asian Para Games Torch Relay Proceeds to Tonglu with 'The Most Beautiful Route' Awaiting

On the morning of October 20, the third leg of the Hangzhou Asian Para Games torch relay kicked off in Tonglu as scheduled, with a total of 128 torchbearers participating.

Starting from the waterside terrace, the torch relay in Tonglu County follows the Fuchun River that runs through the county. The winding river connects Tongjun Mountain, Yan Ziling Fishing Platform, Daqi Mountain, Golden Left Bank of Fuchun River and other tourist resorts that combine natural beauty and cultural landmarks, forming a route of appealing scenery.

Along the relay route, the Tonglu Urban Planning Exhibition Center stands by the riverside, displaying Tonglu's natural landscape, culture and history, and urban and rural construction all together.

Not far away, the clear-sky blue arches of the Second Fuchun River Bridge blends seamlessly with the distant mountains and clear water, joining the old and new urban areas of Tonglu together. The construction of this bridge represents the implementation of Tonglu County's southward expansion strategy and serves as a testament to the rise of an emerging city.

On Yingchunnanlu (Yingchun South Road) in the new urban area of the county, there is a bustling array of shops lining on both sides of the street, where the hustle and bustle of the marketplace presents a lively, vibrant atmosphere of day-to-day life. In the middle of the boutique street of Yingchunnanlu is the central square, and at its entrance stands the sculpture "Splendid Water from the Sky", visualizing the charm of the Fuchun River with its elegant shape. The Tonglu Theater, Ye Qianyu Art Museum, Tonglu County Cultural Center and other cultural venues around the square are all excellent destinations for Tonglu citizens to enjoy leisure and cultural activities and work out.

The torch relay also passes by the Yingchun Business District which has 25 commercial buildings, two commercial complexes, and a planned area of 1.4 million sqm, with each number serving as proof of its vigorous development. As the core area of the county, it bears the important task of developing modern service industry and promoting the rapid transformation and upgrading of the county economy.

The torch relay ends at "Yue·Tonglu" - the entrance to Tonglu County. Here, the lush greenery and the city scenery complement each other, and an urban garden emerges before your eyes.

By the 7.1-km relay route which weaves together Tonglu's historical memories and development trajectory, Tonglu unveils a unique modern version of "Dwelling in the Fuchun Mountains" in front of the whole world.
