The 9th China International Copyright Expo Held in Chengdu

The 9th China International Copyright Expo and 2023 International Copyright Forum was recently held in Chengdu.

As China's first copyright demonstration city, Chengdu has always been at the forefront of copyright creation, application, protection, management, and services. The Chengdu Copyright Achievements Exhibition at this expo fully demonstrates the copyright trajectory of "Chengdu IP" going global in a vivid form and with rich content.

It is reported that, centered around "Rongbao", the mascot of the Chengdu Universiade, Chengdu has launched more than 1,400 licensed products in 18 major series, including toys, badges, stationery, stamps, and philatelic items, with a total production value exceeding CNY 620 million.

In the next step, Chengdu will focus on innovating the allocation methods and transaction scenarios for digital copyright assets, promote the creative transformation and innovative development of unique cultural resources such as ancient Shu culture, Three Kingdoms culture, giant panda culture, and historical celebrities of Sichuan, and actively integrate into the global digital copyright innovation chain, application chain, and value chain to share copyright value and co-create a better life.
