Recently, to ensure reliable electricity supply for rural customers during the harvest season, staff of the State Grid Xuchang Power Supply Company came to the fields of Xiangcheng County in Xuchang City, Henan Province. They assisted farmers with safety inspections of electrical equipment and provided on-site guidance for hazard management. This initiative has significantly improved the health level of agricultural equipment and ensured the normal and efficient operation of various drying facilities, thus securing a bountiful autumn harvest.
In addition to ensuring the electricity supply, the State Grid Xuchang Power Supply Company has organized a special inspection team to ensure reliable electricity supply during the autumn harvest season. This team leverages advanced technologies such as infrared thermography and drone surveillance to conduct thorough inspections of agricultural production lines and electrical equipment, aiming to promptly identify and eliminate potential operational hazards, thereby providing comprehensive and seamless electricity supply throughout the entire process, which can ensure that farmers would have stable access to electricity during the autumn harvest season.
Besides, the State Grid Xuchang Power Supply Company has organized service teams to actively promote knowledge on the protection of electrical facilities among combine harvester operators in the fields. The service teams remind the operators of safety precautions to prevent accidents caused by accidentally hitting power lines or poles during the autumn harvest, thereby significantly enhancing the safe operation of electrical facilities throughout this period and actively meeting the electricity demands during the harvest season.
Over the past few days, the State Grid Xuchang Power Supply Company has deployed more than 300 power service personnel at various levels in Xiangcheng County. They have assisted customers in addressing over ten potential safety hazards, conducted inspections of more than fifty power lines, and distributed over a thousand leaflets on the protection of electrical facilities, providing a safe and reliable electricity supply for farmers during the autumn harvest.
