Tonglu Tongjun Primary School in Hangzhou Conducts 'Aerospace Study Trip'

Tonglu Tongjun Primary School in Hangzhou carried out an aerospace study trip to Hangzhou Technician Institute on January 17, in a bid to better popularize aerospace knowledge, ignite students' passion for space exploration and promote craftsmanship. 40 participating students embarked on a magic journey of aerospace exploration here.

The study trip encompasses a full range of activities such as "I Want to Drive an Aircraft," "Let's Fly Drones," "Aircraft Inspection Pro" and "Superman of Aircraft Maintenance." Upon receiving the activity passport for occupational experience, students excitedly selected their study trip routes according to their own interests.

Students guided by an instructor learn about the layout and functions of aircraft instrument panel.

During the trip, students assumed the role of an aircraft pilot, with the assistance of instructors, to understand the layout and functions of aircraft instrument panel. They learned to operate various aircraft attitudes. On top of that, they delved into safety precautions and techniques for controlling drones, experienced helicopter flight checks and participated in on-board operations. "I want to become an astronaut when I grow up," exclaimed the students enthusiastically after the hand-on activity.

"I hope this aerospace study trip will enable students to feel the power of technology, and plant the seed of a space dream in teenagers," said the principal of the Tongjun Primary School, who led the trip.
