On November 4, internet influencers from ten countries including Germany, South Korea, Bangladesh, Mexico, Thailand, Romania, Russia, and Vietnam visited the ancient city walls of Kaifeng. They witnessed the awe-inspiring 3D performance Dream of the Daliang Gate without the aid of glasses and experienced the grandeur and transformations of this millennium-old city. They also visited the Millennium City Park for the International Chrysanthemum Exhibition and watched the performance The Song Dynasty: Dongjing Dream, immersing themselves in the Song culture and decoding the new format of “digital cultural tourism”.

The Dream of the Daliang Gate project on the Kaifeng City Walls utilizes digital technology to recreate the prosperous and bustling scene of the Northern Song Dynasty’s Dongjing (present-day Kaifeng) a thousand years ago.
