Xuchang City in Henan Province, China, Advances the "Photovoltaic + Electric Heating" Project to Ensure Power Supply for Winter

　　On December 5, staff from the State Grid Xuchang Power Supply Company conducted inspections of photovoltaic equipment in Chenhuadian Town, Yanling County, Xuchang City, Henan Province. They measured the supply voltage, assisted with inspecting heating equipment, and promoted safety precautions for electric heating to ensure residents have a clean and comfortable winter.

　　To ensure a reliable power supply this winter and the coming spring, the State Grid Xuchang Power Supply Company has prioritized the "Photovoltaic + Electric Heating" project as a significant livelihood initiative. The company actively communicated and coordinated with local governments and professional departments,organizing joint site surveys with professionals from relevant departments and local power supply stations. Additionally, company personnel explained to users the procedures and safety notices for rooftop distributed photovoltaic grid connection and prepared for the integration of photovoltaic power generation projects into the grid. A priority service channel has been established for customized access plans, with dedicated personnel assigned to oversee the entire process, ensuring seamless coordination and one-stop service for all procedures.

　　In recent years, the State Grid Xuchang Power Supply Company has constructed and upgraded over 100 kilometers of distribution lines and more than 120 distribution transformer districts in Yanling County. Besides, over 6,300 households have installed photovoltaic systems.
