State Grid Xuchang Power Supply Company coordinates city and county efforts to meet the electricity demands of agricultural production in winter

  “We are grateful for your on-site assistance in inspecting the drying equipment’s lines and for providing us with electricity usage recommendations,” said Yun Shaohua, the head of the Xiangyin Agricultural Cooperative in Yunzhuang Village, Chencao Town, Jian’an District, Xuchang City, Henan Province, China, on December 11, as he referred to the Optimized Electricity Usage Suggestions provided by the manager of transformer district of the Chencao Power Supply Station under the State Grid Xuchang Power Supply Company.

  In recent years, to support rural revitalization, Xuchang City has vigorously developed characteristic agriculture, with over 6,220 specialized agricultural cooperatives established in the city. To ensure the safety of electricity use in winter agricultural production, the State Grid Xuchang Power Supply Company, in a joint city-county effort, has infused strong momentum into winter agricultural production with reliable power supply and high-quality service.

  The State Grid Xuchang Power Supply Company has strengthened power supply assurance by conducting meticulous inspections and temperature monitoring of agricultural-related lines, distribution transformers, switches and other equipment. Additionally, it has implemented precise monitoring of parts prone to heating, promptly recorded and reported any identified risks, and established a risk elimination system, thereby fully meeting the electricity demands of characteristic agriculture during winter.

  Since the beginning of winter, the State Grid Xuchang Power Supply Company has organized personnel of local power supply stations to be on duty throughout the day, and assigned dedicated customer managers to conduct hazard inspections of distribution and electrical equipment for agricultural cooperatives. The city and county power supply departments have inspected 632 lines (times), eliminated over 120 hazards, provided over 800 on-site services, and solved more than 140 electricity issues, effectively ensuring safe and reliable electricity usage for agricultural production in winter.
