The State Grid Xuchang Power Supply Company empowers the vermicelli industry to enhance quality and efficiency with reliable power supply

　　Recently, Account Managers Su Jianzhou and Liu Jinfeng from the State Grid Xuchang Power Supply Company actively visited the Chen Family Vermicelli Processing Factory in Chenzhai Village, Dama Town, Yanling County, Xuchang City, Henan Province. They inspected the electrical wiring and processing equipment in the production workshops, thoroughly identifying potential hazards in the electrical facilities. They aimed to provide reliable electricity support for enhancing the quality and efficiency of rural revitalization and characteristic industries.

　　Chenzhai Village is renowned far and wide for its sweet potato vermicelli processing. Currently, it boasts three cooperatives dedicated to cultivation and processing, all of which have achieved electrified production and assembly-line operations. Annually, they process over 50,000 kilograms of vermicelli, generating more than one million yuan in additional income for local farmers.

　　To ensure the electricity needs of vermicelli processing are met, the State Grid Xuchang Power Supply Company has created a dedicated service archive. Staff regularly visit vermicelli workshops and production facilities to conduct comprehensive inspections of electrical wiring, metering devices, and leakage protectors. Additionally, they also perform thorough checks on the power supplies for specialized equipment such as starch processing machines, vermicelli machines, and refrigerating chambers, helping to eliminate electrical hazards. Moreover, they guide farmers on how to use electricity safely and efficiently during off-peak hours, providing them with reliable and worry-free power.

　　“With a reliable power supply in place, we plan to expand our production scale next year and invest in various types of equipment. Meanwhile, we will focus on extending the sweet potato industry chain to help more families improve their livelihoods,” said Chen Xuezhi, the Party Branch Secretary of Chenzhai Village, with great enthusiasm.
