2025 Chongqing Tongliang Marathon Starts

At 8 a.m. on February 23, the 2025 Chongqing Tongliang Marathon with the theme of "Dragon and Horse Spirit" began on Longcheng Tianjie in Tongliang District. This competition has three major categories: marathon, half marathon, and health run.

In this competition, the cultural genes of Tongliang Dragon Dance, the national intangible cultural heritage, have been deeply integrated into every detail. The iconic of "dragon"  motif  is integrated throughout the venue, highlighting the unique cultural charm of Tongliang.

In addition, the track has been carefully planned and upgraded, connecting the landmarks and natural scenery of Tongliang urban area. Among them, the track around Xuantian Lake is 9.22 kilometers long, wide and flat with minimal ups and downs. Runners who participate in half marathon or full marathon races can enjoy a stunning picture of the clear lake water surrounded by green mountains as they race along the lakeside.
