“Explore Guannan, Join Hands for Shared Prosperity” Rural Revitalization Themed Event Kicks off in Guannan, Lianyungang

From April 14 to 15, the “Explore Guannan, Join Hands for Shared Prosperity” Rural Revitalization Themed Event and the International Capacity-Building Seminar on the “Partnership Network for Education for Sustainable Development” kicked off in Guannan County, Lianyungang City.

Distinguished guests from UNESCO INRULED, Asian Institute of Technology, Beijing Normal University, Yunnan Agricultural University, Guangxi University, Nanjing University, and Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics conducted on-site inspections in Guannan.

At the seminar, Xu Yijun, Member of the Party Leadership Group and Vice Chairman of the Jiangsu Provincial Federation of Philosophy and Social Sciences, delivered a speech, emphasizing that the Federation has long been dedicated to rural revitalization, accumulated extensive experience through practical exploration, and achieved a series of effective outcomes, providing crucial theoretical support and practical references for deepening the implementation of the rural revitalization strategy.

Wang Dengyun, Deputy Secretary of the Guannan County Party Committee and Leader of the Provincial Rural Revitalization Task Force of the Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China stationed in Guannan County, expressed hope that  all participants would seize the opportunity presented by this event to accelerate cooperation in technological and industrial innovation, leverage Guannan's advantages in industrial transfer, innovation factor mobility, and its integrated port, sea, and river transportation network to expand markets in Southeast Asia, Central Asia, and Europe, thereby enhancing the influence of local distinctive agricultural brands and ensuring all residents benefit from the development achievements.

Wang Hua, Secretary-General of the Global Public Welfare Communication Research Center (Nanjing University) and Vice Chairman of the Jiangsu Women and Children’s Welfare Foundation, shared innovative practices and positive outcomes in sustainable rural revitalization public welfare projects.
