On May 9, the “Hi, Shandong—Opportunities in China, Leisurely Tour of Dongying” event for foreign media concluded successfully.

In Hekou District, Dongying City, foreign media reporters visited the Heyang Community's one-stop service center for all ages to experience the convenient and happy lives of local residents. They also explored a digital and intelligent blueberry base integrating industry development and educational research, learning how “little blueberries” are driving a full industry chain and promoting common prosperity in rural areas.

In Dongying Port Economic Development Zone, the reporters visited the “5G+” Smart Chemical Park in Dongying Port, where they learned how big data, cloud computing, IoT, AI, 5G, and other next-generation information technologies are empowering digital transformation in the chemical industry. They also visited Xianhe Town, home to the World Pickleball League Town, and observed how the sport of pickleball is taking root and thriving in Dongying.

They also visited the site of the Kenli HG14 Offshore Photovoltaic Project, operated by the Shandong Branch of CHN Energy Guohua Investment Co., Ltd., to learn about the construction progress of this major offshore solar initiative.
