Recently, staff from the State Grid Nanyang Power Supply Company visited Qijia Industrial Co., Ltd. in the Advanced Manufacturing Development Zone of Nanzhao County, Nanyang City, Henan Province, to help the enterprise inspect internal power lines, switchgear rooms, and tools for potential safety hazards, ensuring production safety.

The Company has implemented a risk management plan to improve the efficiency of on-site safety supervision. It has conducted immersive emergency drills with dual verification of construction personnel qualifications and equipment operation standards, striving for “zero accidents” in engineering projects. Fire safety training sessions were also conducted to raise awareness of common hazards such as unauthorized hot work, improper use of flammable materials, and blocked emergency exits. These practical exercises reinforced fire extinguisher use, emergency evacuation drills, and enhanced overall fire safety awareness and self-rescue capabilities.

In response to peak summer loads and risks posed by extreme weather, the Company has intensified special inspections of power lines, focusing on clearing vegetation along transmission corridors, conducting infrared thermography to inspect equipment connection points, and checking lightning protection and bird-prevention facilities. All identified hazards are subject to real-time tracking—from detection and reporting to rectification and final acceptance—under a closed-loop management system. Meanwhile, staff visited enterprises to inspect power distribution rooms and production line circuits, providing on-site rectification suggestions to ensure safe and reliable power supply for production.

Looking ahead, the State Grid Nanyang Power Supply Company will continue integrating targeted safety education with hazard inspection and remediation. Electrical safety knowledge will be delivered to factory workshops, rural farmlands, school classrooms, and households, building a comprehensive safety “protection net” across all areas.
