Jiaozuo, Henan: High-Quality Power Drives Fruit and Vegetable Industry Development

Staff assist a farmer in inspecting electrical equipment for safety hazards

On July 1, staff from the State Grid Jiaozuo Power Supply Company visited Zhaohe Town, Jiaozuo City, Henan Province, to conduct power safety inspections in local fruit and vegetable growing areas.

In a donut peach orchard, staff used infrared thermographic devices to inspect distribution boxes and irrigation lines. In watermelon fields, they identified potential hazards, provided detailed guidance on safe electricity use, distributed safety brochures, and reminded farmers to use electrical equipment properly in hot weather to prevent accidents caused by improper usage.

In recent years, Zhaohe Town has leveraged its resource advantages to develop several specialty fruit and vegetable growing areas, including those for kiwis and pomegranates. The Company has proactively engaged with growers, established a regular visitation mechanism to understand their power needs, and tailored power supply solutions for each growing area.
