On October 21, staff members from the State Grid Nanyang Power Supply Company conducted comprehensive inspections of power lines at the Bingyu Greenhouse Vegetable Planting Demonstration Base in Lidian Town, Sheqi County, Nanyang City, Henan Province, based on the current electricity usage characteristics of greenhouse vegetable production. They promptly eliminated potential safety hazards to ensure the safe and smooth operation of agricultural production.
Sheqi County is a major agricultural area. In recent years, agricultural industries such as greenhouse vegetable cultivation, Chinese herbal medicine planting, and mushroom farming have grown significantly, with an increasing number of large-scale planting bases being established. The total vegetable planting area now exceeds 150,000 mu (approximately 10,000 hectares).
The State Grid Nanyang Power Supply Company has created specialized service profiles for local agricultural producers, detailing their location, electricity usage type, base load, and contact information. Each planting base or area is assigned a dedicated power service representative and a set of tailored electricity supply safeguards, enabling personalized daily support. The company conducts meticulous inspections of distribution equipment and power lines, promptly addressing potential safety risks to ensure a safe and uninterrupted power supply for agricultural operations.
Meanwhile, the State Grid Nanyang Power Supply Company has established a 24/7 designated contact mechanism, proactively providing on-site services and regularly inspecting customers’ internal electrical systems to address power-related issues face-to-face.
Moving forward, given the high electricity dependence of greenhouse vegetable and edible fungus cultivation, the company will continue to improve service measures, optimize service mechanisms, and fully meet electricity demand to ensure safe and reliable power supply for customers.
