Recently, State Grid Shangqiu Power Supply Company conducted live-line operations on Pole 5 of the 10kV Zhouyou North Line, where a straight pole was converted into a strain pole and installed with a pole-mounted switch. This upgrade enhances the line's fault isolation capability and grid intelligence.

In response to the dual challenges of winter peak demand and complex weather conditions, the company has launched a comprehensive autumn inspection and maintenance campaign. Adhering to the principles of "early deployment, strict inspections, thorough rectifications, and effective implementation," the company is taking multiple measures to strengthen grid safety foundations and ensure reliable power supply during the winter peak period.

The company has strengthened its overall planning and established a dedicated task force. By analyzing historical operation and maintenance data along with the high-load conditions experienced during the summer, it has formulated a differentiated autumn inspection plan. The plan clearly defines key inspection areas, including substations, transmission and distribution lines, and distribution equipment. It also specifies critical checkpoints, such as equipment aging, insulation performance, and protection against lightning and pollution flashover. Additionally, the company has implemented a responsibility system that ensures accountability at every level and responsibility for every individual.

During the hidden peril identification phase, the company's technicians employ advanced diagnostic methods such as infrared thermography and ultrasonic partial discharge detection to conduct comprehensive inspections on all 10kV and above power lines and key substations within the jurisdiction. The inspections focus on clearing vegetation obstructions along line corridors, tightening tower bolts, and testing the grounding resistance of surge arrestors as well as the insulation conditions of electrical equipment. A "problem list + rectification log" is systematically established, implementing closed-loop management to ensure dynamic elimination of potential hazards.
