State Grid Jiyuan Power Supply Company Ensures Reliable Electricity for Winter Irrigation with Quality Service

　　Recently, State Grid Jiyuan Power Supply Company (“the Company”) dispatched personnel to meticulously inspect the power facilities of irrigation wells in the southern area of Zhicheng Town, Jiyuan City, Henan Province, China. They implemented safety controls and risk prevention measures, and educated surrounding residents about safe electricity usage during winter irrigation, ensuring a reliable power supply for winter wheat irrigation.

　　Since the beginning of winter, precipitation has been scarce, leading to a high demand for electricity for irrigating crops such as wheat. The Company has implemented detailed measures, extending its services directly to the fields to ensure a safe and reliable electricity supply for crop irrigation, thus safeguarding food security.

　　The Company assembled 230 service personnel, forming 115 inspection teams. These teams meticulously inspected power lines, distribution substations, substation buildings, cables, switches, protection devices, and the surrounding environment of irrigation wells in the fields. They strictly implemented operation and maintenance management requirements to enhance risk resistance. Any issues discovered, such as aging wires of farmland irrigation well power-supporting facilities or loose connections in distribution devices, were promptly reported and swiftly addressed to ensure the stable operation of power facilities.

　　Simultaneously, the Company established a "green channel," streamlining business processes and visiting the fields to understand electricity needs. They proactively coordinated services and educated the public on safe electricity usage and power facility protection.

　　In over a month, the Company has addressed 69 safety hazards related to distribution lines and farmland irrigation wells, implemented 102 risk prevention measures, and processed 320 temporary power supply applications, creating a favorable electricity environment for winter wheat irrigation and winter crop growth.
