Recently, staff from the State Grid Nanyang Power Supply Company visited the Lixiang Mushroom Stick Factory in Xixia County, Nanyang City, Henan Province, China, conducting thorough inspections of the base transformers, mushroom stick processing equipment, and electrical circuits.In the production workshop of the Lixiang Mushroom Stick Factory in Xixia County, workers were on the production line in an orderly manner. The company has already produced over 2 million mushroom sticks, supporting more than 400 local households in cultivating shiitake mushrooms.

To ensure reliable power supply for mushroom cultivation, the State Grid Nanyang Power Supply Company has not only accelerated the construction of rural power grids but also proactively visited farmers to learn about the production cycles of shiitake mushrooms. By identifying the critical power needs at each stage of cultivation, they have enhanced efficiency in their work. Additionally, addressing issues such as aging equipment and wires in greenhouses, the Company has informed farmers of safe and efficient electricity use, as well as emergency troubleshooting methods.
Xixia County produces 300,000 tons of shiitake mushrooms annually, exporting to over 30 countries and regions, including Russia and Vietnam, with cumulative export earnings exceeding $8 billion. To ensure a bumper harvest and smooth sales, service personnel has conducted safety inspections on electrical equipment such as dryers, sterilization cabinets, and cold storage facilities, providing reliable support for mushroom storage.
Looking ahead, the State Grid Nanyang Power Supply Company will remain attentive to the power needs of spring mushroom cultivation, and provide steady and constant electricity supply for both production and daily life. This effort will support mushroom enterprises in accelerating production, thus contributing to the revitalization of rural areas.
