How does the Inner Mongolia Women's Federation Work?

As the 115th International Women's Day (March 8th) approaches, the Inner Mongolia Women's Federation (IMWF) launched a heartwarming "New Year Visit to Grassroots-level Organizations" initiative. A media delegation was organized to travel to Hohhot, Baotou, Ulanqab, and Ordos, witnessing the work of the women’s federations in different locations and capturing the flourishing of “She Power.”

On February 19, the media delegation arrived at the first stop, Hohhot and headed straight to the front lines. From the marriage and family dispute mediation to training in household services, from the building of family traditions and civility in community to the mutual support networks of women volunteers, the reporters observed and praised, truly experiencing how the women's federations impact people’s lives.

At the People's Mediation Committee for Marriage and Family Disputes, the reporters were deeply drawn by different cases. "If these cases are spread, they will form a lively educational class for every child to learn!" they exclaimed, giving a thumbs-up to the Committee’s dedication. Entering a household services company, the reporters focused on the "growth stories" of women's entrepreneurship and employment. "How is this job different from your previous ones?" "What is the biggest change before and after training?" The reporters recorded the inspiring moments of women achieving a "turning point in life" through household services.

In the communities, the delegation focused on the inheritance of family traditions and childcare services in summer vacations, exploring the civility behind "Most Beautiful Families" and experiencing the warmth of the summer programs, dubbed a "must-have for parents." At the Women Volunteers Association, they delved into the details of assistance, discovering that the women’s mutual support network is becoming increasingly mature, serving as an indispensable force of "She Power" in grassroots governance.

This event not only "highlighted key points" and "formulated practical plans" for the grassroots-level women's federation's work in the new year, but also conveyed to society the warmth and strength of women's causes in the new era. It disseminated the stories of women's work, helping it spread further and resonate more loudly – the "She Power" of the new era is shining brightly at the grassroots-level, injecting more vitality into the high-quality development of women's causes!
