Recently, State Grid Nanyang Power Supply Co., Ltd. has carried out emergency preparedness in terms of organizational deployment, risk prevention and control, emergency resources, and safety assurance. The company organized a strong team to conduct special inspections of important power lines and equipment within its jurisdiction in an effort to ensure the safe and stable operation of the power grid.

State Grid Nanyang Power Supply Co., Ltd. has enhanced the monitoring of power grid operations. It analyzed the problems and weak links of the power lines and facilities, as well as special sections within its jurisdiction, based on weather and load changes, and formulated detailed inspection plans. According to the plans, it dispatched operation and maintenance personnel to conduct special inspections of power lines and facilities susceptible to strong winds, so that it could promptly obtain the operating conditions of the power lines and facilities and eliminate safety hazards in a timely manner.

The company has also intensified the inspections of substation equipment to promptly clean up waste materials such as plastic films from greenhouses in substations, distribution rooms, and power line corridors, to prevent line failures caused by debris. The company kept a close eye on weather changes, strictly enforced a 24-hour duty system, and ensured the availability of repair tools, materials, vehicles, and personnel to safeguard the normal operation of power equipment during strong winds.
