Recently, staff from State Grid Xuchang Power Supply Company visited the Yuzhou Ruifeng Maintenance Station in Zhonglian Auto City. They conducted a post-installation inspection and electrical safety check on the newly commissioned heavy-duty electric truck charging piles, ensuring their safe and reliable operation.
In early March 2025, Yuzhou Ruifeng Maintenance Station proposed constructing a dedicated charging facility for heavy-duty trucks. The station is equipped with eight 400 kW DC fast charging piles to improve its operational efficiency and service capacity.
Upon identifying the customer’s needs, State Grid Xuchang Power Supply Company promptly responded to the key customer’s electricity demands. It streamlined approval, grid connection, and related procedures, significantly shortening the time required for electricity access.
After accepting the application, the company considered overall load requirements, designed appropriate wire diameters and load access modes, and carefully planned the power supply program. A dedicated customer manager was assigned to closely follow the project’s design and construction progress. Additionally, the company allocated power resources efficiently, provided detailed technical guidance, and strictly controlled the quality of project acceptance. By mid-April, all eight dedicated charging piles and supporting transformer units for heavy-duty trucks had been successfully installed and powered.
Looking ahead, State Grid Xuchang Power Supply Company will continue to leverage its industry strengths to expand tailored power supply infrastructure for heavy-duty electric truck charging. This initiative aligns with market demands and supports the region’s transition to sustainable growth through green energy adoption.
