On May 23, a press conference was held in Liupanshui, Guizhou Province, announcing that the 2025 Colorful Guizhou Marathon Super League (Fourth Stop) and the Liupanshui Marathon will kick off on July 20 in Zhongshan District. Registration is now open and will close at 6:00 p.m. on June 5.

Since its inception in 2013, the Liupanshui Marathon has been successfully held nine times, evolving into a flagship event with both international recognition and strong local flair. It has received over 20 core awards across four major categories, becoming a distinctive signature event of the “Cool City” in China’s marathon landscape.

The race includes four categories: the full marathon (42.195 km), half marathon (21.0975 km), 10 km run, and public fun run (5 km), with a total of 32,000 participants—8,000 in the full marathon, 12,000 in the half marathon, 2,000 in the 10 km run, and 10,000 in the fun run.
