Foreign Media Gathering Held for the 2025 RCEP Forum on Local Government and Sister City Cooperation (Huangshan)

On June 5, the foreign media exchange session for the 2025 RCEP Forum on Local Government and Sister City Cooperation was successfully held in Huangshan City. Centered around the forum’s theme, "Regional Collaboration for Shared Growth," the event brought together representatives from RCEP member-state media outlets, including the Laos News Agency and the Malaysia National News Agency, journalists from Mongolia’s News.mn news portal, as well as domestic media such as International Online Anhui Channel and China Economic Information Service Anhui Center. Delegates from export-oriented enterprises and vocational colleges also participated. The gathering provided a platform for participants to exchange ideas and explore new development opportunities in an atmosphere of mutual engagement.

Qin Junfeng, Director of the Foreign Affairs Office of Anhui Province, attended and addressed the gathering. He noted that as a key international exchange platform under the RCEP framework, this forum aims to deepen economic, cultural, and industrial integration among RCEP member states, injecting new momentum into high-quality regional economic development. He highlighted that the foreign media exchange session sought to leverage media as a bridge to strengthen friendly exchanges and enrich the forum’s outcomes.

During the event, Huangshan City showcased its achievements in cultural tourism and its vision as an international reception hub. Representatives from leading enterprises and institutions—including Chery Automobile, JAC Motors, NIO, iFLYTEK, SUNGROW, HELI Forklift, Gujing Group, Xie Yuda Tea, and Lvhai Vocational College of Business—engaged in extensive exchanges with journalists on topics ranging from regional synergy and corporate globalization to talent cultivation, fostering a warm and friendly atmosphere of collaboration.
