On July 12th, the 2025 Chongqing University of Posts and Telecommunications (CQUPT) International Summer School Global Youth Talks, themed “Study in Chongqing, Shape Your Future”, was successfully held. A total of 157 teachers and students from 12 countries, including Canada, France, Germany, and Russia, gathered at CQUPT for a cross-border exchange.

Zhang Qinghua, Vice President of CQUPT, explained that this year’s international summer school includes three themed camps: “Smart Manufacturing and Robotics”, “Cybersecurity and AI Governance”, and “Digital and Intelligent Technology Meets Chinese Humanities”.
At the event, Zhang extended warm congratulations to the 47 students who were about to graduate from the program and gave a sincere welcome to the 110 teachers and students beginning their summer school journey. He expressed his hope that students from different countries would actively engage in dialogue, inspire one another, and serve as ambassadors for scientific, technological, and cultural exchange between China and the world.

During the “Global Youth Talks” session, five youth representatives from Germany, Russia, Kazakhstan, Sri Lanka, and China held in-depth discussions on topics such as smart manufacturing, AI governance, and mutual learning among civilizations. In the cultural showcase, a traditional Sri Lankan dance enlivened the atmosphere, and Chinese and international students together practiced Chinese brush calligraphy, writing the phrase “Appreciate the beauty in diversity, and share the beauty in harmony,” vividly expressing the vision of cultural integration and coexistence.

The 2025 CQUPT International Summer School Global Youth Talks, hosted by Chongqing University of Posts and Telecommunications, is a key achievement in promoting the “Study in Chongqing” brand. It further demonstrates Chongqing’s determination to open its higher education to the world. With the launch of the “Study in Chongqing” 2025 global enrollment campaign, the city is extending a sincere invitation to students from around the world, showcasing a more confident, diverse, and inclusive outlook.
