Luodian County, Guizhou Kicks Off Water Festivities with Three Themed Summer Experiences

On the evening of July 18, the launch ceremony for the "Enjoy Water Fun in Luodian" 2025 Guizhou·Qiannan·Luodian Water Festivities was held on the water stage at Yuhu Bridge. The event highlighted this year’s new and exciting features, along with a vibrant lineup of song and dance performances and intangible cultural heritage showcases.

In addition, attractions such as the intangible cultural heritage market, night tours of Luodian, and the Summer Ice Street drew large crowds of tourists and local residents.

Focusing on “water fun” as its core theme, the festivities include three themed series of activities: Water Markets, Water Carnival, and Water Sports, held across locations such as Luodian County Town, the Yuhu Health and Wellness Tourism Resort, the Daxiaojing Scenic Area, and the Hongshui River Scenic Area.

Visitors from all over the country can take part in a wide range of activities, including the Summer Ice Street, intangible cultural heritage markets, coffee by the water, Kimple-brand lure fishing, stand-up paddleboarding (SUP), waterside basketball, and via ferrata climbing. These diverse cultural, sports, and leisure experiences offer an immersive journey through the vibrant natural beauty and cultural richness of "Sunny Luodian."
