Wenzhou, Zhejiang: Power Energizes the "Spicy" Economy

Currently, more than 50 mu of chili peppers in Yayang Town, Taishun County, Wenzhou City, have entered the peak processing season. To ensure reliable power supply for chili processing enterprises, State Grid Wenzhou Power Supply Company has dispatched staff to Taishangxiang Agricultural Development Co., Ltd., where they conducted a comprehensive inspection of power lines and electrical equipment to identify and eliminate potential safety hazards.  

Located in southern Zhejiang, Yayang Town enjoys a mild climate, favorable ecological environment, and rich soil resources. In recent years, with the support of leading local chili enterprises, Baifuyan Village has developed yellow chili peppers into a signature agricultural product. This has fostered a complete industrial chain, spanning seed breeding, planting, sightseeing and picking, as well as processing and production.

Staff members conducted inspections and infrared temperature checks on dedicated transformers, electrical equipment, power lines, and metering devices throughout the factory, promptly detecting and addressing potential safety risks in circuits, distribution boxes, and other power facilities. They also engaged in in-depth discussions with the factory manager to better understand electricity demand and existing issues, and developed tailored power supply solutions to support energy conservation and efficiency improvements.
