Anhui Province Hosts “AI + Manufacturing” Application Scenario Matchmaking Conference

On September 20, the Anhui Province “AI + Manufacturing” Application Scenario Matchmaking Conference was held in Hefei. The event brought together more than 200 participants, including leaders from AI and manufacturing enterprises, high-tech firms, “little giant” specialized and innovative companies, as well as representatives of well-known investment institutions.

As one of the key special events of the 2025 World Manufacturing Convention, the conference aimed to promote the high-end, intelligent, and green development of Anhui’s manufacturing sector, injecting strong momentum into the construction of the province’s modern industrial system.

Conference Highlights

It was announced that Anhui Province will release a set of key tasks for application scenario innovation each year and adopt a “champion challenge” mechanism. For projects that successfully meet the challenge, the province will provide funding support of up to 20% of project development costs, capped at 10 million yuan.

At the conference, the first batch of 18 AI application scenario innovation projects for 2025 was unveiled, with a total value exceeding 370 million yuan, bringing total AI project investment to approximately 580 million yuan.

A number of representative “AI + Manufacturing” application scenarios were released, and several companies showcased their advanced technology solutions.
