"With your team coming to conduct on-site electricity inspections, we feel much more confident about the power supply during the autumn harvest," said a staff member from Wenzhou Tianshangfei Modern Agricultural Service Center on October 24, expressing gratitude to employees of the State Grid Wenzhou Power Supply Company who were inspecting the center's threshing and drying equipment. As the autumn harvest and sowing season reaches its peak, the State Grid Wenzhou Power Supply Company has focused on the electricity needs of farmers and modern agricultural bases, implementing a package of "power assurance and service initiatives" measures to ensure a safe and reliable electricity supply for local farmland operations.
To accurately cater to the electricity demand of the Wenzhou Tianshangfei Modern Agricultural Service Center during the harvest season, the company established an "Autumn Harvest Power Guarantee Service Team" in advance. The team provided proactive, targeted services and refined its service measures. Focusing on the power consumption characteristics of modern agricultural operations, the team conducted a comprehensive inspection of the service center's distribution room and fully automated electrical equipment. Given the power load and operating conditions of the base's five large-scale fully automated dryers during the harvest season, the service team developed a scientific power guarantee plan. It also conducted focused inspections of electrical equipment such as automated threshers, identifying and eliminating 20 potential safety hazards, including loose wiring and aging switches. At the same time, the company opened a "green channel" and implemented an online-offline "zero-distance" service mechanism to closely track the center's electricity usage patterns and capacity expansion needs. To address the seasonal peak in electricity consumption, service personnel carried out meticulous inspections and maintenance of the wet grain impurity removal system, multi-stage dust removal devices, and low-temperature drying and preservation equipment, ensuring safe and reliable electricity use for modern agriculture.
Subsequently, braving the lingering heat of the "autumn tiger," members of the service team went deep into the fields surrounding the modern agricultural service center. They precisely aligned their inspection routes with the areas where farmers were conducting harvest operations and used infrared thermometers to monitor line loads in real time. This enabled early detection and resolution of potential issues, preventing electrical failures from disrupting the progress of the autumn harvest.
Looking ahead, State Grid Wenzhou Power Supply Company will continue to optimize its power guarantee measures, establish a full-coverage and long-term service mechanism, further streamline service processes, and enhance power supply reliability and stability. With dependable electricity support, the company aims to safeguard farmers' "grain bags" and inject strong momentum into the high-quality development of modern, technology-driven agriculture.
