2027 Singapore Awaits! The 23rd International Chaozhou Federation Convention Concludes in Chaozhou

From November 28 to 30, the 23rd International Chaozhou Federation Convention was held in Chaozhou under the theme "Roots and Kinship, Prosperity for the Nation." Nearly 1,800 representatives from 165 Chaozhou associations worldwide gathered for a homecoming journey—tracing shared roots, renewing cultural ties, contributing to national development, and exploring future cooperation.

The opening ceremony delivered multiple highlights and major initiatives. The "Chaozhou Business Directory" was officially launched, and the "Chaozhou Products Go Global, Global Quality Enters Chaozhou" supply chain cooperation program was inaugurated. During the closing ceremony, commendations plaques were presented to individuals and organizations that made significant contributions to the convention. A special presentation ceremony was also held: the organizing committee gifted the Chaozhou embroidery piece "Return to Chaozhou" to the International Chaozhou Federation as a token of gratitude for its strong support. In addition, Feng Shaoxie—Vice Chairman of the Guangdong Artists Association and former Deputy Director of the Guangdong Art Institute—donated his oil painting "Master of Sinology: Rao Zongyi" to the Rao Zongyi Museum in Chaozhou.

It was announced that the 24th International Chaozhou Federation Convention will be held in Singapore in 2027, hosted by the Singapore Teochew Poit Ip Huay Kuan.
