In recent years, Zheng’an County in Zunyi City, Guizhou Province, has pursued innovative development of its guitar industry, emerging as China’s largest guitar production base. Riding the momentum of opening-up, the county has steadily expanded its presence in overseas markets.

At the guitar industrial park in the Guizhou Zheng’an Economic Development Zone, craftsmen meticulously polish guitars that are exported overseas via the China–Europe Railway Express and cross-border e-commerce platforms. Wei Linfei, administrative manager of Guizhou Zheng’an Natasha Musical Instrument Manufacturing Co., Ltd., noted that the company’s carbon fiber composite guitars offer clear advantages. Traditional wooden guitars are susceptible to cracking and deformation caused by changes in temperature and humidity, while carbon fiber composite guitars deliver stable performance, making them suitable for outdoor performances and long-distance transportation. With high design flexibility, the material also enables more complex designs and greater possibilities in guitar aesthetics.

Since their market launch in October 2024, the carbon fiber composite guitars have sold more than 10,000 units, mainly to markets including Russia and Japan. Current orders have been scheduled through January 2026.

By connecting with international land-sea multimodal transport networks, leveraging the Belt and Road Initiative, and utilizing the China–Europe Railway Express, Zheng’an has exported guitars to over 40 countries and regions, including Russia and Poland, further expanding overseas distribution channels.
