Inside the Starry Sky Classroom, the walls are adorned with a depiction of the boundless cosmos, dotted with countless twinkling stars. A model depicting Chinese astronauts' lunar exploration stands on one side, showcasing the nation's aerospace research capabilities.
According to Zhang Qifei, the school's principal, the Starry Sky Classroom will integrate astronomical science into the curriculum, offering regular activities such as stargazing, space-themed art, and aerospace knowledge competitions. The school also plans to invite science experts and volunteers to provide both online and offline teaching guidance, making the classroom a regular hub for science education. Furthermore, the school will establish an astronomy club based on the facility, encouraging children to actively explore, ask questions, and plant the seeds of scientific curiosity in their minds.
Since 1995, when the State Grid Corporation of China began its targeted assistance program for the Shennongjia Forestry District, it has implemented a total of 182 projects aimed at improving education, healthcare, people's livelihoods, and the development of distinctive industries.
