Kaifeng, Henan Introduces Multiple Measures to Safeguard Green Travel During the Spring Festival

As of February 24, to ensure the safe and stable operation of electric vehicle charging facilities during the Spring Festival, State Grid Kaifeng Power Supply Company organized technical forces to conduct special safety inspections at various charging locations. They made every effort to troubleshoot hidden risks and optimize service guarantees, ensuring the safe and reliable operation of charging piles during the holiday and safeguarding green travel for citizens and tourists.

In key areas such as transportation hubs, scenic spots, and commercial complexes, staff conducted comprehensive inspections of the operation status of charging equipment, the integrity of charging cables and connectors, the stability of payment systems, and surrounding power supply lines. Addressing weather conditions such as low temperatures, humidity, and strong winds during the Spring Festival, they focused on strengthening inspections of equipment insulation performance and windproof and rainproof measures.

During the visits, staff emphasized equipment maintenance priorities and emergency handling procedures during the Spring Festival to charging station operation and maintenance personnel. At the Kaiyuan Square Charging Station, Mr. Zhang, a car owner who was charging, said, "I am driving my family to travel during the Spring Festival. Seeing the power supply staff inspecting the charging piles so carefully makes me feel much more at ease."

Staff also distributed charging safety tip cards to new energy vehicle owners on-site and answered common charging questions. In addition, State Grid Kaifeng Power Supply Company monitored the operation status of charging facilities in real-time to ensure safe, convenient, and efficient charging services during the Spring Festival, supporting green travel with practical actions and safeguarding the public in spending a joyful and harmonious Spring Festival.
