In spring, winding bluestone paths stretch across Lixiang in Lishui, Nanjing. This fertile land is striving to revitalize its cultural and tourism resources, connect wealth-generating industrial chains, and blaze a new path of revitalization to create a livable and business-friendly environment.

Relying on its exceptional mountain and forest resources, Shitouzhai Village, where Lixiang is located, took the lead in developing the specialty fruit industry as early as 1986 by introducing and cultivating blueberries and blackberries. After years of development, its blueberries have been rated as a national rural specialty product, Shitouzhai Village has been honored as a national "One Village, One Product" demonstration village, and its blackberries have been recognized as a national geographical indication agricultural product.

Since the opening of the scenic area, its annual cultural and tourism revenue has exceeded 10 million yuan, with a total of over one million tourist visits. It has also won more than 20 honorary titles at the national, provincial, municipal, and district levels.

A bumper harvest

The booming integrated industry of agriculture, culture, and tourism has not only firmly safeguarded people's livelihoods and consolidated the foundation for income growth but has also attracted a large amount of young talent to return home and start businesses, reviving the vitality of the once-hollow village. The per capita disposable income of villagers has nearly tripled compared to 2016.
