Recently, State Grid Sanmenxia Power Supply Company successfully completed the installation of fault indicators using a live-line work robot. This marks a historic breakthrough in Sanmenxia's intelligent live-line work technology.
The branch line involved in this operation supplies power to important livelihood and public service facilities, including two schools, seven residential communities, and a gymnasium, making power supply assurance a heavy responsibility. The entire operation adopted a "machine replacing human" model, with operators remotely controlling the robot from the ground to complete all tasks. The process required no power outages, ensuring normal electricity use for customers while avoiding the safety risks associated with high-altitude, high-voltage live-line work.
