6th Huaihe River Conference for Chinese Entrepreneurs Opens in Huai'an

On May 15, the 6th Huaihe River Conference for Chinese Entrepreneurs officially opened under the theme "Gathering Merchants at the Hub, Intelligence Leading the Future." Over 200 overseas Chinese community leaders and business representatives attended the event.
Over years of development, the conference has leveraged overseas Chinese connections as a bridge and commerce as a unifying force. It has established itself as a vital platform for linking domestic and international Chinese business resources and pooling the wisdom and strength of the overseas Chinese community, injecting robust momentum into the open cooperation and coordinated development of the Huaihe River region.
Standing at a new starting point, this year’s conference focuses on the empowerment of new quality productive forces. It promotes the deep integration of scientific, technological, and industrial innovation to help the Huaihe Ecological Economic Belt forge new competitive advantages. Simultaneously, it integrates into the national "dual circulation" development pattern to attract the aggregation of overseas capital, technology, and talent.

Currently, Huai’an is accelerating its development into a transportation hub serving the broader northern Yangtze River Delta region, an economic hub driving high-quality industrial development, and a key supporting hub for the domestic circulation system. The city is dedicated to building a modern industrial system and cultivating new quality productive forces. During the city promotion session, a spokesperson emphasized that Huai’an boasts a solid industrial foundation, surging vitality, and bright prospects. By adhering to an industry-driven and innovation-led approach, the city strives to be a vital force in developing new quality productive forces in Jiangsu Province.

At the event, several business representatives shared their entrepreneurial stories of mutually beneficial growth with Huai’an. They expressed their intent to continue using the conference as a platform to deepen their roots in the city and drive further project investments.
In recent years, Huai’an has pursued a path of new industrialization, deeply integrating the development of new quality productive forces with industrial upgrading. Highlighting industrial chain collaboration, technological innovation, and the introduction of high-end talent, this year's conference successfully secured 83 industrial projects, 32 technology projects, and 12 talent projects.
