On the day of the event, young volunteer Zhao Yaoyang dressed in a Nezha costume and explained safety knowledge to the students, drawing layers of children around him and prompting waves of interaction. Volunteer Yang Yating leaned down and smiled as she asked the children questions about electricity safety. The students eagerly raised their hands to answer, helping them take key electricity safety tips to heart through the relaxed and cheerful interaction. The event also featured situational role-play and interactive games, making abstract safety knowledge more visual and easier to understand.
Daodian Township Central Primary School is a relatively remote rural primary school in Yunmeng County, Xiaogan City. The “Xiaoxin·Gardenia” Volunteer Service Team, established in April 2015, formed a paired support relationship with the school that same year. Over the past 11 years, team members have continued to care for the studies and daily lives of the younger students at Daodian Township Central Primary School through one-on-one paired support. With sincerity and affection, they have brought warmth to the children, lighting up their innocent hearts with the warmth of electricity and accompanying rural children as they move toward a brighter future through long-term dedication.
