On July 7, employees of State Grid Sanmenxia Power Supply Company visited key organizations requiring reliable power supply during the flood season, including Sanmenxia Rehabilitation Hospital, and conducted on-site safety inspections of critical electrical facilities, such as power distribution rooms and emergency power supplies. They carried out comprehensive checks for potential electrical hazards to ensure electrical safety at key sites during the flood season.
Since the start of the flood season, severe convective weather events have occurred frequently. To ensure a stable power supply and protect public safety during the flood season, State Grid Sanmenxia Power Supply Company has fully implemented flood control and power supply assurance measures, established dedicated service teams, and continued to conduct routine hazard inspections. Staff systematically reviewed electricity-use information for key flood-control customers, created dedicated electricity-use files for nearly 100 key customers, and updated records for more than 200 key flood-control entities. The company refined work assignments, clarified responsibilities, and improved standardized emergency response procedures, further strengthening the foundation for flood-season power supply assurance. For safety hazards found in customers’ electrical equipment during inspections, staff followed up on corrective actions and managed each case through a closed-loop process of hazard registration, rectification, and verification, thereby thoroughly eliminating all types of electrical safety risks. At the same time, staff provided one-on-one electrical safety guidance to key organizations, explaining practical safety measures for responding to water accumulation during the flood season, safely positioning electrical equipment, and using residual current devices (RCDs), thereby improving customers’ ability to use electricity safely during the flood season.
State Grid Sanmenxia Power Supply Company will continue to closely monitor weather conditions and conduct routine hazard inspections and electrical safety education, taking practical measures to ensure a stable power supply across its service area.
