As a flagship project of China's Silk Road Economic Belt and Gansu Province's top-priority transportation infrastructure initiative, the Lanzhou-Zhangye High-speed Railway (Phase III and IV) is a vital hub project. It is designed to improve the high-speed rail network in Northwest China, connect the Hexi economic corridor, and drive the industrial transformation and upgrading of the regions along its route.

In recent days, to accelerate and enhance the construction of the Silk Road high-speed railway, State Grid Zhangye Power Supply Company has worked to precisely meet the power supply requirements of the railway project, coordinating the specialized relocation of backbone transmission lines, including the 330 kV Ganzzhou-Shandan I & II and Ganzzhou-Zhangye I & II. To date, the company has mobilized 205 construction experts and formed a dedicated task force to manage the relocation of power lines across various voltage levels. So far, a total of 61.765 kilometers of lines have been newly installed or upgraded, 496 new towers have been erected, and 85 complex crossing construction operations have been efficiently completed. By providing a reliable power supply, the company has effectively "fast-tracked" the construction of the Lanzhou-Zhangye High-speed Railway. (Text/Photo by Cheng Gang)
