Reliable Power Supply Supports the Steady Growth of Specialty Breeding Industry in Jiaozuo, Henan

On July 20, staff members from the Shennongshan Central Power Supply Station of State Grid Jiaozuo Power Supply Company visited the Anyang Breeding Professional Cooperative in Ziling Town, Jiaozuo City, to conduct power safety inspections and promote safe electricity practices, supporting the steady growth of the specialty breeding industry with high-quality services and reliable power supply.

Anyang Breeding Professional Cooperative has built 12 standardized rabbit sheds, raising a total of 8,200 Rex rabbits and meat rabbits. Its products are sold to Sichuan and Chongqing, with some products exported overseas. The cooperative generates an annual output value of about 3 million yuan. The base has achieved intelligent management throughout the entire breeding process and provides nearby employment opportunities for local villagers and people with disabilities.

Since the beginning of summer, intelligent breeding equipment has required continuous operation around the clock. In response to the electricity needs of the breeding industry, State Grid Jiaozuo Power Supply Company has leveraged its grid-based service system to proactively address customers’ electricity needs and provide targeted electricity services.

During the inspection, staff members conducted comprehensive checks on power lines, distribution boxes, residual current protective devices, shed wiring, and automated breeding equipment. They promptly rectified issues such as non-standard wiring and aging equipment, while promoting knowledge about summer electricity safety, emergency response measures for power outages, and energy-saving practices, improving the cooperative’s electricity safety management.

“Power supply is very stable now. The staff from the power supply company often come for inspections and help solve problems. We feel assured about electricity use,” said Liu Zhenyang, head of the cooperative.
