At the recently wrapped-up Morning Tea Championship Contest of the 8th China (Jiangsu) Time-honored Brands Expo, Haitangchun, a local intangible cultural heritage time-honored brand rooted in Taizhou, claimed the competition's historic first three consecutive championships. With its outstanding quality, authentic local flavors and exceptional craftsmanship, it secured a landslide lead across all three evaluation criteria: professional judge scoring, public voting and on-site sales. This set a brand-new record for morning tea contests in Jiangsu.
The expo gathered more than 600 time-honored brands from across the province for exhibitions and competitions, covering catering, cultural and creative merchandise, specialty agricultural produce and more, showcasing a rich spectrum of distinctive local brands.

Amid such fierce high-level competition, Haitangchun Tea House prevailed with consistent quality and genuine classic flavors to win three straight titles, making it the only morning tea brand ever to hit this milestone in the contest's history.
This three-consecutive-title achievement did not come by accident; it is the fruit of years of persistent dedication and refined craft honing. Having specialized in the morning tea business for many years, Haitangchun has always remained committed to craftsmanship to safeguard the core soul of Taizhou morning tea. For this expo, the brand showcased five signature products: traditional sesame crisp cakes, blanched tofu shreds, hand-stretched jump noodles, braised pork hock and Haitangchun Chunyu Tea. All items were handcrafted live on-site to faithfully recreate authentic classic Taizhou flavors.

Behind one time-honored brand's three consecutive championship wins lies the development and transformation of an entire city. Over the past two years, riding the huge popularity of the Jiangsu Football City League, Taizhou has gained vastly greater national exposure and visibility. Its morning tea industry has flourished alongside this momentum, evolving from a local culinary specialty into a unique urban cultural tourism IP that draws visitors from all over the country.
