Lotus in Yongxiu, Pure Joy All Summer

Midsummer brings scorching hot days and gentle lotus-scented breezes, with lush greenery spreading everywhere. In Yongxiu, thousands of mu of lotus ponds are now in full bloom. Lotuses stand gracefully in clusters, filling the air with delicate fragrance. Sparkling clear waters are dotted with pale pink and pure white blooms, forming a charming contrast against swathes of verdant foliage. This summer, there is no need for far-off journeys, for Yongxiu offers its own lovely lotus scent. Vast stretches of lotus ponds unfold like a painting.
