“Super Fun Langshan” Water Carnival & Music Festival Kicks Off in Xinning, Hunan

On the evening of August 2, the Hejiawan Lawn in the Fuyi River Scenic Area of Langshan, Hunan Province, came alive with surging crowds and vibrant music as the “Meet Along the Zhangjiajie–Langshan–Guilin Tourism Corridor · ‘Super Fun Langshan’ Water Carnival & Music Festival” officially kicked off. Many tourists traveled south along the Zhangjiajie–Langshan–Guilin Golden Tourism Corridor to experience this musical celebration set against a scenic mountain-and-river setting.

The festival features a diverse lineup of performers. Songs such as Ni Mo Zou (“Don’t Leave”) and Lang Li Ge Lang—which blend local characteristics with broad appeal among local audiences—were performed, creating a lively yet orderly atmosphere. The event is free and open to the public, and visitors can participate by making advance reservations through the scenic area’s official channels.

The festival will run until August 12, featuring 11 evening performances in total, with shows held daily from 7:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. Following the opening performance, subsequent shows will focus on diverse musical styles to meet the viewing needs of visitors of different age groups.
