Since the start of summer, Chongqing has been hit by extreme heat, with successive red alerts for high temperatures issued. Power loads have continued to climb, putting mounting pressure on the grid during the peak summer period. To safeguard the stable operation of the power grid and ensure a reliable electricity supply for both production and daily life in the mountainous city, employees of State Grid Chongqing Electric Power have been working under the scorching sun at operation sites, carrying out infrared temperature measurements, potential hazard inspections, and emergency repairs on power lines and equipment.
